75% less effort on payroll accounting

How berufsbildner.ch hands changing teaching assignments, fees and special cases to Paymira, and gains time and transparency along the way.

  • Close to zero

Effort around payroll accounting since the switch.

  • 80 lecturers

In peak months, with different assignments and fees every month.

  • Full transparency

Shared access for the finance team, Paymira and employees.

Every month looked different.

At berufsbildner.ch there are no steady standing contracts. The number of lecturers on assignment changes from month to month, reaching 80 in peak months. For every one of them, the exact assignments, fees and expenses had to be recorded and reflected correctly, a laborious process.

On top of that came special cases such as sickness, which are rare and so meant learning the process all over again each time. A single case could easily take half a day to a full day.

Special cases such as sickness were fairly demanding for us, because it isn’t something you do every day. Each case could easily take half a day to a full day. We simply don’t have that work any more.

Software and people, not either or.

For berufsbildner.ch it was clear early on: Paymira isn’t software you log in to and are then left alone with. Whatever can be automated runs on the platform. Behind it is a payroll team you can reach whenever questions come up.

The switch itself was manageable. The system changed, and everything around payroll accounting was gone through properly once. For berufsbildner.ch it felt more like a spring clean than a major effort.

You know there are experts behind it, people you can actually reach. And at the same time, exactly what can be automated runs on the platform. We have a transparency we didn’t have before.

More than just payroll.

Since the switch, Paymira handles not only payroll but also the topics around it: registering new employees with the pension fund, accidents, sickness and other cases. Exactly the tasks that come up rarely and were therefore demanding every time. All in all, the effort around payroll accounting has dropped by about 75%, and for much of what Paymira takes over completely, to practically zero.

  • −75%

    Less effort around payroll accounting.

  • Special cases

For everything else around payroll accounting, we don’t have to do anything any more. It’s practically zero.
